Apple Charlotte. Cake That Melts in Your Mouth!
Charlotte is not ordinary apple cake, already famous Russian classic that can easily be prepared and you will be more than impressed by the taste of the pie-cake.
For the preparation of the Russian dessert is needed:
– 5-6 large apples
– 3 eggs
– 200g/7 oz sugar
– 125 g/4.4 oz flour
– Powdered sugar
Heat the oven on 170C, and bottom round mold cover with greaseproof paper (or well lubricate cold butter).
Peel the apples, cleaned of seeds and cut into cubes of medium size and stack directly in the prepared baking pan.
Then, mix the eggs with the sugar with the help of an electric mixer until they become foamy, and most of the sugar is melted.
Add vanilla (1-2 bags of vanilla sugar, if desired) and flour so all mix well. Mixture will be quite thick.
The resulting dough pours over the apples and bake for 55-60 minutes.
When the cake is done, leave it in the mold for about ten minutes, and then turn it on a plate for serving.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cinnamon.
The cake is light as a feather!
