Although at first it seems like something that could only make a professional cook, but it’s so easy. Ingredients for six apple roses:

– Two apples

– Half a lemon

– One tablespoon of flour

– One package of puff pastry

– Three tablespoons apricot jam


– Powdered sugar


Cut the apples in half. Remove the seeds. Clean them, but don’t peel them. Shred them into thin slices.

In a bowl of medium size, pour water in it halfway and squeeze lemon juice.

Soak the Apple slices in the water with lemon and insert whole bowl in the microwave for three minutes. Then strain the apples.

With three tablespoons of apricot jam, pour two tablespoons of water. Put it in the microwave for one minute, after removing mix the mixture.

Sprinkle with flour the puff pastry and develop to be thin. From it cut six lanes. Each strip brushes it with apricot jam.

Place the apple slices long ways halfway on the strip. Keep adding slices until you reach the end. Then fold the puff pastry over the bottom of the apple slices.

Roll up the puff pastry and place in a greased muffin tin. Bake the apple roses for 35-45 minutes.  Pull out of oven and let cool for 5 minutes.

When baked sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
