You don’t have to buy chocolate all the time to enjoy the taste, you can prepare your own homemade chocolate which is not so difficult.

For its preparation it takes very little time, and the result will delight you and your children.


Cocoa powder – 70-100 gram/3.5 oz

Milk of your choice – 50 ml/1.69 oz

Honey – 2 tablespoons

– Butter – 50 gram/1.76 oz

– A bit of cinnamon (optional)

– Option: A handful of chopped or whole toasted nuts and / or dried fruits

Put the milk on low heat but don’t boil it. We mix. We add butter, cinnamon and mix again.

Put the mixture into a bowl with the cocoa powder, gradually, stirring, not rushing to immediately pour all the mixture.

Heat the completed mixture over low heat, or steam.

Take off the bowl from the heat and put the honey in it.

If desired, you can add chopped or whole toasted walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, dried fruits, and so you will make the chocolate, not only tasty, but also healthy.

You can put the mixture in silicone molds. Leave it for an hour in the refrigerator, to be tightened. After that you can enjoy this delicious local chocolate.
